In my last post I told you about the big big thriftfair we where going this weekend, it was quit hectic (people run to
be the first one inside) but also amazing.
Here is our big loot:

• Finally found the chair I was looking for ages. Couldn't choose so we bought two. To the enormous frustration of a
man who was hoping we put one back and was getting very angry at us.
• He found a lamp he liked (which was almost stolen by someone else, people where very very crazy).
• I bought lot's of viewmaster cards as a much to late birthday present for him (shame on me!).
• Liking the pattern on these clothes hangers (is that the right spelling?).
• Couldn't resist these wallpapers, which will probably turn into envelopes and boxes for the new house.

We still got a long wishlist so now where waiting untill next year.

Patterns.

A pattern I worked on last week. One in pink and one in blue. Don't know what to do with it but I like it. Any ideas?

This weekend will be a busy one. We are going to an enormous thriftfaire (hope to find some nice treasures) and I will
be working further on a new project. That is one of the reasons why it's been so quiet over here but I hope I can share
it with you pretty soon.

This weekend me and my ♥ finally managed to pay a visit at this exhibition. Hermine, from Journal de Jours, set up this exhibition
with her letter-project. If you like sending mail and if you are in the neighborhood then you should definetely pay a visit.

Voor mijn lieve Belgische volgers... Ik ben op zoek naar een breimachine voor het breien wat vlotter te maken en voor
een heleboel ideeën die ik wil uitwerken. Alleen weet ik niet waar ik moet beginnen met zoeken buiten de gebruikelijke
tweedehands sites waar er ook niet zo heel veel op te vinden is. Kan iemand me hiermee helpen? En omdat het allemaal

My favorite moment of the day is when I hear the sound of my mailbox. This lovely package arrived last Friday. I was so
surprised when I opened the envelope. Lisa send me two beautiful matchboxes because she knows I collect them, pretty
postcards, a cute bird and and some pieces of fabric.

• Last week I've got in a big panic mode, after more than 5 years my Macbook decided to quit working with me. So I kept

Little bits of the week.

It's been really calm here lately. The weather is cold and dark and there isn't lot of light to take pictures. I'm keeping myself
warm by working on all sorts of projects. First of all I made some new illustrated wooden necklaces which you can fine here
+ new tote bags.

Another project I've been working on (you may have already seen here), are some new brooches. I thought it would be fun to send
the first one as a little suprise to Lisa as part of the Autumn-swap-project. Since Bruno the Bear was all alone I thought that he
needed a little friend. She doesn't has a name yet so if you have some ideas... go ahead! Keep an eye out cause I'm making more...

Yay! I'm finally ready with updating the shop. I spent the last days with doing productshots (which I love to do) and making
totebags. First time screenprinting and I'm happy with the results. I made my own screenprinting material and I like the way it
all turned out. Since it was my first time there ~~are only 2 bags~~ is only 1 bag available at the moment but I can't wait to start
printing again.

Whenever I come across beautiful wool or yarn in thriftshops, I have to take it home with. Even though I can't use it for knitting

A little bit of work and a little bit of play, that's how my vacation looked. Finnaly found the time to finnish my porcelain
brooches. Al hand-painted and finnished with a view coats of high-gloss varnish. They are now ready to find a new home.

Some of you might dicovered it already. Me and H. are going to start a new blog. Since our family and friends don't live that
close, we thought it's a good idea to start a renavation diary/blog. + It's fun to see before and after pictures.

How was you weekend? Me and H. stayed indoors all time. Crazy weather these last days. From thunder and lightning, heavy rain,
wind, hail and a bright sun. We drank too much coffee, read books, watched movies and played board games. Sometimes you just need

Found a used roll film a few days ago. A little bit disappointed when I saw my developed photos. Only a few pictures turned out
good. There from our trip to Amsterdam. Guess I have to practise some more. If anybody nows some tips or tricks? I'm not so good
at the exposure part. Photography was never my best subject in school.

It's been a very busy weekend! I've been talking for months and months now about opening a little shop. Now I can finally say that
the little shop will be there very soon. It all happened so fast and I'm so exited to start!
It's been a dream for a long long time!

• Thought that the bear illustration would look very good on a tote-bag. Like it?
• Did some thrift hunting again and found a dress + scarf.
• Sketches for a new project.

Our weekends are usually filled with visits to the flea market and thrift shops. Can't bear the thought of missing 'the buy of my

Maybe you guessed it, I'm totaly addicted to trift-markets. With the renovations on their way (even though it is still several
months before we can really start), I can only think about one thing, how we are going to decorate the place. My list of 'stuff
I need for the home' is getting bigger and bigger. I can't visit enough thrift-shops and markets looking for the perfect pieces.
My tin-box collection is slowly growing. Some new additions, the easter-box (wich is now my favorite, love the shape and the
illustrations) and the chinese-box (lastest picture).

I keep all my letters and paper scraps in these boxes and each time I open one it's like opening a treasure. Also found some
fabric which maybe will be turned into cushions.

I'm back, after a week of no internet (which feels really weird). Still a lot of connection problems so it can happen again. In
the meantime I had lot's of time to visit my family, knit (my scarf is almost finnished!), write letters,... Finally planted my
advocado in a large pot so he can grow more and I bought a mint. Love love love the smell and taste of mint.

with it anymore.

• We won at an auction! Actually H. won an auction. This beauty now stands proudly in our living room.

• While he collects his music, I'm searching for childrensongs. Found a new one of 'Tom Thumb'
with an illustration of Dick Bruna.

Good mail day.

I love writing and receiving mail. It's always such a pleasure when you find a little piece of someone else in you're mail. Today I received a lovely envelope from Juultje. She sent me these little suprises.

Thank you so much Juultje, you made my day! You can expect something backy very soon.

Today me and H. enjoyed the good weather. We went for a walk in the park and looked for the perfect place to spent the rest of the day. Can you believe that this is just outside the city?! So peaceful and quiet.

Weekend snaps.

How was your weekend? Me and H. went to the other part of the country to visit my family. Such a long time since I've seen them, we had a great time together.

• Enjoying bad and good weather.
• Lots and lots of strawberry's from the garden.
• Visit to the animal market and wishing I had a huge farm so I could bring all these little ones home with me. Look at those little ducks.

Here are some Late snaps from the weekend.

• My avocado is doing really well. Czn you see the grumpy bear?
• Replaced my old chair with a new one. Just couldn't resist the latest edition from Ikea. By what I heard they only sell them at a few places in Belgium and the Netherlands. My reading/knitting corner is now almost complete.

• He bought me my favorite flowers and though there now wilted, I can't trow them away yet. Love the differant shades of pink.

• Got some more vintage yarn from the thrift store.

• Started knitting a new scarf.

Raspberry muffins.

•275 g self-rising flour - 1 tsp baking powder - 100 g sugar - 2 eggs - 240 ml milk - 100 ml oil - little bit of salt - raspberries

•Mix the ingredients together and bake at 200 degrees 20-25 minutes

I finally finished my scarf I was working on. Since I only knit while watching TV it took me ages too finish this one. I knitted it with vintage yarn that I found in a thrift shop. To bad I'll have to wait until winter to wear him.
