Christmas decoration.

Didn't feel like every day to clean pine needles. You know cats and trees... So this is our modern solution for a Christmas tree.

Little bits from the weekend.

Painted the walls white, which was a huge job cause they where pink (not my choice) before.

Fortunately I got some help from my two roommates.

ABC - paper cutting.

Did some paper-cutting again and this is the result. Planning to have this in the shop one day, but for the moment I'm busy with making a portfolio. Seems like I have to have a part time job before I can start the web-shop. Belgium seems to be a weird country, is it in other countries the same?

Some paper cutting and our first snow.

I'm still working on the shop. Got so many ideas but so little time, I don't know where to start first.
The last days I did a lot of packaging and my postcards arrived. Yay! Normally these where for the shop but this weekend a dear friend of mine is going to sell them this Sunday here. If you're in the neighborhood, make sure to stop by. In the mean time you still have to be a little patient.

It's getting much to cold outside these days, rather stay indoors and enjoy a warm cup of tea.

Tilestove from Weltevree

Wonderwall from Suspacious

Yesterday I went to the International Design Biennial in Kortrijk. Normally I'm not too fond on modern design cause I rather love old furniture, found somewhere, that has a story attached to it. Surprisingly I do found some favorites that I would love to have in my house some day.

Sneak peek.

How was your weekend? I did a lot of work. Made some new friends that I will show you soon. Here you can see one of them, he doesn't have a name yet (suggestions?) . I'm working on a tote-bag, this one is just a preview. Not so pleased about the result yet. What do you think? The illustration is drawn on the fabric and is not printed. Hope to put these in the shop one day. Still a lot of work to be done.

Tiny friends.

These little one's came home with me from Amsterdam. Wouldn't these be fun as postcard?

Cirque du Meez.

Don't you just love it to be inspired by the cirque? It's such a wonderful and magical place to visit don't you think? I like the costumes, the striped tents and the feeling you get when you go visit.

It was also my inspiration for my first set of illustrations. We've got The lion tamer who is a sweet little fella, The twins who each have there own personality, Lady dare who isn't afraid of anything, Bruno the bear and The Stilt walker. What do you think of these cute characters?

Soon for sale in the shop.

I'm back from Amsterdam. So much to see but too little time. I can totally see myself living here in these beautiful houses.

Let me tell you a secret. I'm dreaming of having a web-shop one day and I think that dream will become true. But there's still lots preparation and work to be done.

This weekend I'm taking of to Amsterdam. Does anyone have any must-see-tips or tips for lovely stores that I definitely have to visit?

Corporate identity.

Another thing that's taking my time is making my own logo. I had a lot of fun today with this typewriter.
Still much work to do, this is only the beginning. What do you think so far?

One of my biggest inspirations sources are vintage packaging. Every time that I see old typography I fall in love.

Lately I've neglected my blog a lot, but it's all for the good. I'm doing some freelance work and it takes up most of my time. These are my first assignments and it's so much fun working on it. I hope I can continue this in the future.
